![]() Rhetoric, Physical Instrument, Shivers are going to be more useful than Esprit de Corps, Pain Threshold, Enyclopedia AFAICT. ![]() Some of the checks are difficult and some skills are more likely to gate you than other ones - e.g. It's probably possible to have a bad build where it becomes extremely difficult to advance the main plot if you're been emphasizing the wrong skills and neglecting certain ones, however. Maaaybe if I used a wildly different build where I emphasize Half-Light (a fight-or-flight skill) and Physical Instrument, and with minimum intelligence, I'd be running around impulsively slugging people? Hrm. Most of the interactions with NPCs, you're trying to figure out how to get the information you want or other assistance, while they're trying to get you to either do them favors or buzz off. but it's definitely not your average combat-heavy RPG, or at least that's not even an option with the build I'm using. there's at least one fight that can happen at a certain major moment in the plot, with shots fired and people dying.
